Lafuma successfully launched the 1st trail course of Baekdudaegan Project II
Baekdudaegan Project II, composed of 20 hiking courses by 2015, began on March 15 with Jirisan Mountain hiking.
Registration is expected to close soon with the competition rate at 10:1.
LG Fashion’s (CEO Koo Bon Keul) Lafuma, an outdoor brand, began its two-year Baekdudaegan hiking project II by successfully completing its first trail course.
The first trail course of Baekdudaegan Project II was carried out in Jirisan Mountain from March 15 to 16. The participants were a group of interesting people, including the executives of LG Fashion and the former members of the 1st Baekdudaegan Project who were reunited in 10 years. The first step of Baekdudaegan Project II was a mountain ritual followed by hiking in Jirisan Mountain (Jungsan-ri – Cheonwangbong Peak – Jangteomok Cottage – Maebong-ri) and ended with a photo shoot at the Cheonwangbong Peak.
With the first trail course finished on March 15, Baekdudaegan Project II with its 20 courses will be held once a month for two years until October 2015. The 2nd trail course on April 12 will be an eco-trekking from Baekunsan Mountain to Yeongchwisan Mountain to commemorate the celebration of Earth Month.
Lafuma is flooded with inquiries regarding the registration as the first hiking was a huge success. A Lafuma insider said, “We never thought that Baekdudaegan Project II will receive so much attention given that the 1st project was a decade ago. The competition rate of registration via stores and online is already at 10:1. We advise you to register as soon as possible as the registration is expected to close soon.”
