“A Virtual Model with Fashion in her DNA” LF Unveils Virtual Fashion Model ‘NAON’






- Content boosted to target “Millennial and Gen Z fashion connoisseurs” with virtual
   model NAON, who possesses traditional, Eastern beauty and modern appeal

- Arduous journey to mold unique face that stands out from existing virtual humans

- After unveiling first photoshoot, NAON to work as fashion model and collaborate with various brands


LF, the lifestyle culture company, has announced its intention to boost content targeting Millennial and Generation Z fashion connoisseurs with the development of a virtual fashion model, ‘NAON’.


In one of its latest projects, LF has developed a virtual human named NAON for the purpose of using her to promote its fashion brands. NAON is therefore a “model optimized for fashion content” and due to the use of image-based AI technology, has been molded to capture a realistic, yet stand-alone appearance, with elaborate detailing to add natural traces of traditional, Eastern beauty and modern appeal. In particular, arduous efforts have been made to ensure her face is distinctly memorable from existing virtual models. The result of this intricate work is reflected in her name, “NAON,” which means “I am the center of the world”.


NAON recently completed her debut photoshoot with W Korea and is set to continue her career in fashion and lifestyle by collaborating with various brands in the future. Through numerous appearances and by sharing intimate details of her life as a model on social media, her presence will be made known in both the real world and virtual world.


Ji Ho-shin, Head of LF’s Content Headquarters, explained, “NAON is a virtual model who embodies the limitless field of fashion. Her creation is aimed to inspire and stimulate interaction with millennials and Gen Z consumers who are fashion-conscious and digitally superior. This is the first case of a Korean fashion company introducing its own female virtual model, and by capturing LF’s own fashion DNA and expertise, we will develop NAON into an iconic virtual model whose unique style and personality makes her larger than life.”
